Mr. Donakia L. Harris was born December 6th, 1974, in Mound Bayou, Mississippi to Darnell Harris and Earlean Ford Harris. He graduated from Greenville High School in Greenville, Mississippi and was baptized at Ball’s Temple in Greenville, Mississippi. He died August 1st, 2026, in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Donakia proceeded in death by his father – Darnell Harris, brother – Nelius Harris, grandparents – John and Stella Ford, Willie and Gertrude Harris as well as five aunts and five uncles.

Leave to cherish his memory is his daughter – Akia La’Ziay (Kia) Harris and son – Donakia Harris Jr. His mom – Earlean Ford Harris. Two sisters – Yashika (Roberto) Woulard and Diana Shere Harris. Two brothers – Michael Harris and Darnell Harris.

His loved friends include Courtney, Kristin, DeeDee, Wanda and Danny.
