Diane Lynn Ferguson, age 74, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, after a sudden illness. She was born September 20, 1949, in Woodstock Virginia and adopted by Jewel and Jack Hooper of Texas.

Diane was married to her husband, Larry Ferguson (Paw), 51 years. Both resided in Shreveport, La where they raised their two children, Devin and Derinda.

Diane, also known as Nana, was loved by so many. If she wasn't working in her flower beds or in her vegetable garden, she could be found dancing at the American Legion on Friday nights or line dancing at the Spar with friends.

Preceding in death were her parents, her husband, Larry Ferguson, and daughter, Derinda Kelly. Left to cherish her memory is her son Devin Ferguson of Knoxville, Tennessee and her brother, Ricky Hooper of Shreveport, Louisiana.

Nana was loved by her 4 grandchildren: Dylan, Cortney, Harley, Dj, and 2 great grandchildren, Carter and Cerinda.

A memorial service will be held at 5-7 p.m. Friday, April 5th, 2024, at Aulds Funeral Home, 7849 East Kings Highway, Shreveport, Louisiana 71115.

In lieu of flowers the family kindly suggests memorials be made to the American Legion Post No. 14 in Shreveport, La.
