Dennis Keeter was born on May 28, 1966. Passed in his home peacefully on 01/22/2025. Dennis was a father, a grandfather, a brother, and a son. He was born in Wayne County, Michigan to Mary and Verlon Keeter. He passed at the age of 58. In his childhood years, he moved to Sarepta, Louisiana due to his father being a truck driver. Louisiana is where he spent most of his life. Dennis was a true example of a man's man. He loved to hunt, fish, and camp in the mountains. He was a carpenter by trade. He owned a custom cabinet shop and built custom homes during his life.

Later retired, and still built cabinets for a living. His work always had a unique touch. As love showed in everything he built. He was passionate about making a home. He believed home is where love existed. Dennis was a light that could shine through any dark moment. He believed in getting along with everybody, every day. Dennis joins in Heaven his grandparents, his mother, and father, and also along with his sister and brothers who have passed before him. Living in out his legacy are his daughters Colbi Danielle Touchet, Tasha Anne Kiel, and Tabatha Jean Martin, his two sons-in-law, Dalton Michael Touchet and Mitchell Allan Kiel, and his Grandchildren Gracelyn Mae Touchet, Lillie Rose Touchet, Maci Anne Kiel, Kadee Faye Kiel, Jayda Brooke Martin, Hayla Martell Briggs, and Marion Martell Briggs.

Let Dennis be remembered as the man who always made you laugh. The one who led you to the light. Let him never be forgotten and his legacy live out through those who loved him.
