Denise Pilcher Chester was born on May 4, 1954, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Curtis and Christine (Norris) Pilcher, and she passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 13, 2025.

Denise graduated from Airline High School in Bossier City, Louisiana.  After graduation, she started a long-time career in the insurance business.  In her spare time, she enjoyed visiting with people (she was definitely a people person), watching westerns, and going out to eat and taking the occasional trip to the casino with her daughter, Chandra Denise Chester.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Norris; her parents; and the love of her life, Ronald W. Hart.

Denise is survived by her loving daughter and best friend, Chandra Denise Chester.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
