Denice Spencer, age 67, of Haughton, Louisiana passed away on December 11, 2018 at her home. She was born on October 20, 1951 in Trona, California to Earl and Eunice Bishop McClure.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Diane McClure; grandparents Bud and Opal Bishop; husband Richard Spencer; husband Jerry Carter, Sr.; Mother-in-law Geraldine Spencer; son-in-law Alvin Cole.

She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Spencer Sharbutt (Scott) and son Tyler of Cotton Valley, LA; daughter Kristi Spencer Cole (William Merritt) and son Spencer of Cotton Valley, LA; stepchildren Melisa Hyer (Tim) and kids Hayden, Timothy, Maddy, Jerry Carter, Jr., Nick Carter, and Aaron Carter (Lydia), Genesis Claire Carter; brother Ronnie Bellew; sister Donna Davidson; Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

Family visitation is from 12-2pm Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Unity Baptist Church of Cotton Valley, Louisiana. A memorial service will follow from 2-3pm at the church with Bro. Gene Gibson officiating.
