Dee Anna Grantham, 63, of Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 2, 2020.
Ms. Grantham was born to Lloyd Daigle and Pearline Blackburn Daigle on May 5, 1956, in Houston, TX.
Dee was loved by all for her quick wit, zany sense of humor, and immense love and loyalty to her family and friends. She was never one to turn down a good or bad cup of coffee, and you could always count on great conversation served with a little sarcasm and a lot of laughs for good measure.
Ms. Grantham was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Daigle and Pearline Blackburn Daigle, as well as her sister, Sandra Gail Blackburn. She leaves behind her ex-husband and special friend, Audry Dale Shelton, Jr.; daughters, Tanya Harville and husband, Lee, Whitney Dantoni, and husband Andrew, and Delanie Shelton and Mario Moore; grandchildren, Heigen Shelton, Hallie Shelton, Hailynn Moore, Mario Moore Jr., and Liam Harville; brother, Ray Allen Miller; sister, Vicki Glass; brother-in-law, Henry Glass and three nieces, Nichole Laffitte, Christy Davis, and Rachel Ramey.
The family would like to thank the staff of Ochsner Medical Center, Lifecare North, Highland Place Rehab & Nursing, and Southern Care Hospice for taking care of as well as loving on our mother in her time of need. Your kind gestures, words of encouragement, and tender touch did no go unnoticed or unappreciated.
A celebration of life will be Saturday, February 29, 2020, at 2:00 pm at her niece, Rachel Ramey's home. All who knew and loved her are invited to attend.
