Shreveport-LA - Debra "Debbie" Marie Wallette Walston, age 58, passed away Friday August 23, 2013 at the Willis-Knighton Bossier Hospital. Debbie was born July 13, 1955 in Shreveport, LA . She married on July 29, 1974 in Shreveport, LA to Paul D. Walston, Sr. - they just celebrated their 39th anniversary. Debra attended Northwood High School. She spent a majority of her life teaching preschool. Later in life, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Debra was known as a wonderful caregiver and was always willing to help others. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Martha Wallette. Survived by her husband, Paul Walston, Sr, her children Stephanie Eder (Blanchard, LA) and Paul Walston, Jr(Ridgeland, MS) and two grandchildren, Kaleigh Eder and Riley Walston. She is also survived by two brothers, Robert "Bobby" Wallette (Shreveport, LA) and John Wallette (Sanford, FL) and two sisters , Louise Galleon (Alexandria, LA) and Sue Wallete (Sanford, FL). The family will welcome friends on August 27 , 2013 from 12 - 2 p.m. at Aulds Funeral Home at 7849 E. King's Hwy Shreveport, LA.
