Dawn McGowen Cobos Ventura - Dawn died unexpectedly August 23, 2021, at her residence in Bossier City Louisiana.  She was born April 16, 1964, in Shreveport Louisiana. She was the daughter of Melvin Joesph Tate and Mildred Hommel Tate.

Dawn graduated from Southwood High School, Class of 1982 and soon later she became a bail bond and recovery agent for the City of Shreveport and Bossier.

She was proceeded in death by her father Melvin J. Tate, mother Mildred H. Tate, Sister Jane Huffman & husband, brother – Robert Kramer.

Survived by her husband Antonio Cobos-Ventura, son Michael J McGowen and wife Rebecca McGowen, son Ashton Mcgowen, daughter Megan Dawn McGowen , step son AJ Cobos, step son Dallas Cobos , step daughter Skyla Cobos , two loving grandchildren Athena Mcgowen and Adonis McGowen. Siblings Patricia Whorley, Marie Cimino , Steven Tate and Bambi Joiner.

A service of remembrance will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, Aug. 31 at Aulds Funeral Home, 7849 E Kings Hwy, Shreveport, LA 71115.
