Dawn Marie Griemel, age 51, passed away Monday, May 12, 2008, at her residence in Stonewall, LA. Arrangements are being handled by Aulds Funeral Home, 7849 East Kings Highway, Shreveport, LA. As Dawn loved horses and horseback riding, there will be a private service and scattering of her cremains May 21, 2008 on her husband's favorite horse trail in Missouri. She was the daughter of Phil and Jean (Newsome) Limbach. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Michael Griemel; son, Brock Bettenhausen and daughter Amber Bettenhausen, two brothers; Bob and John Bickerstaff, also, Step-children; Jason Griemel, Brandon Griemel and Jarrett Griemel. Dawn loved life and would only live it to the fullest. Without self-pity she stood strong in the face of adversity and did not fear the future, but looked forward to it. Never speaking an evil word about anyone, but always seeing the good or the potential good in everyone. She endlessly encouraged others to be more than they were and would support them in anyway she could. She loved her children and spoke of them often in a loving way as only a parent with great pride could. She will be missed by many.
