David Wayne "Waldo" Wistrand

October 28, 1942 - June 22, 2020

David passed away unexpectedly at his home in Greenwood, LA on June 22, 2020.  He was born in Urania, LA, graduated from high school in Stephens, AR and lived many years in Waldo, AR before relocating to Louisiana.  He served in the Air Force Reserve at Barksdale AFB from 1966 - 1971.

Preceded in death by parents E. W. "Swede" and Sybil Ratcliff Wistrand, brother Tommy Dale Wistrand Sr., nephew Tommy Dale "T-Boy" Wistrand, Jr., and wife Monada.

Survived by children Carman DeMare and Caren Pyle (Russell);  their mother Patricia Creech; grandchildren Madeline and Andrew DeMare and Connor, Carter and Grant Pyle.  Also survived by sister Pat Dorman and her husband, Wesley;  sister in law, Melba Wistrand Anderson and many nieces, nephews.

Family and friends will gather for a remembrance at Shiloh Cemetery, Lamartine, AR later this summer.
