David (Dave) Scott Guin, 50 years old, of Shreveport, was called home to meet the Lord on January 7, 2024 after a battle with glioblastoma, a brain cancer. He was born in Shreveport, Louisiana and lived there most of his life.

Dave loved fishing, working on cars with his dad and watching the Dallas Cowboys. He worked for River Cities Flooring for almost 20 years. Dave had a good sense of humor and an upbeat nature about him and loved his dog, Macy.

Dave was preceded in death by his father Harry Guin, and mother Janice Louise Bahm; sister, Jenifer McCollough, and brother John Michael Guin. He is survived by two nephews, Jeff McCollough (Kayla) and Bradley McCollough, and three nieces, Kaylie McCollough, Katie Guin, and Jaylie McCollough.

While he will be deeply missed, we celebrate knowing Dave is in the arms of Jesus.

A private family memorial will be held in lieu of a funeral service.
