David lived life to the fullest and never took anything for granted. He was a special man who knew how to light up a room with his big bright smile and personality. His life is a testament of all that's good and how overcoming obstacles is just another adventure. David never met a stranger and would always help in anyway he could. He was the rescue ranger, if he passed a car on the side of the road he would always offer his mechanic skills. David made fast friends who quickly became family. He was a lover of animals and spoiled them rotten at every chance. We are sure his best pal Boudreaux met him at the pearly gates with a sock ready to play. David touched each of us in his own unique way. Always quick-witted, full of laughter and jokes, and just could not say no to anyone that needed help; we are all a little better for having known him.
Visitation will be held at 12:00PM with a celebration of life service at 2:00PM, Sunday, January 7th at Aulds Funeral Home, 7849 East Kings Highway, Shreveport, Louisiana 71115, Pastor Chip Radke will be officiating.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff of WKB who gave us comfort and understanding through our heartache. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Godshousenola.com or your charity of choice.
