David Randal Barry, age 56, was called home to be with the Lord on January 16, 2017 after a sudden illness. He was born June 11, 1960. David worked as a tile setter most of all his life alongside his older brother. He was so very proud of all his boys and loved his family very much. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and spending time with family. David had a heart of gold and an infectious smile. He was a beloved son, brother, father and grandfather.

David is preceded in death by his mother Rita Mae Burr and sister Vickie Barry Buchanan. He is survived by his father Bruno J. Barry, wife Penny Barry, son's Randy Barry, Mason Barry, Jonathan Schroeder and wife Stephanie, his brothers Dennis Barry and wife Cathy, Bubba Barry and wife Christina, his sisters Cynthia Barry, Denise Booth; grandchildren, Kammi Jo Barry and Kolby Barry, nieces and nephews, Jeremy and Wendy Rimmer, Jed and Dayana Rimmer, DeAnn Barry, Jamie Buchanan, Ben and Bethany Buchanan, Jered Booth, Danielle Booth Shrode, Brittanie Barry McDaniels, Brandon Barry, Shelby Caldwell Barry, Breanna Caldwell Barry and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services celebrating the life of David will be held at 12pm Friday, January 20, 2017, at Celebration Church (8645 Business Park Drive Shreveport, LA 71105 (318) 828-1348). A visitation will be held at the church on Friday as well; family only at 10am, and friends at 11am. An evening visitation will be held from 5:30pm to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Aulds Funeral Home (7849 E. Kings Highway Shreveport, LA 71115).
