Darrell Lee Jones, age 66, went to heaven on March 8, 2018 at his home in Zwolle, LA surrounded by his family. He was born in Shreveport, LA to Charles and Corrine Marie Jones. Darrell loved the outdoors and spent his leisure time hunting, fishing, arrow head hunting and digging for diamonds. He was an artist and made exclusive knives for many of his friends. He could draw anything and up until the end was drawing pictures on the board in the hospital where the nurse inserts her information. There was never a dull moment with Darrell around. He was best described as a rugged, free spirit.  He loved his family and friends.

His father and two siblings preceded him in death.

He is survived by his mother Corrine Marie Jones, his daughter Jennifer Wilcox Holman, her husband Garvis and two sons, Kenneth and Xander, his daughter Melissa Nesbitt, her husband Garrett and their daughter Sunshine, his son Dustin Lane Jones, and his son Emerson.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Aulds Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Denny Duron officiating. Visitation is from 9:30 until service time. Pallbearers are Leroy Cloud, Todd Jones, Gary Bedgood, Garrett Nesbitt, Charles Hall, Garvis Holman, Marc Love, and James Wyatt.
