In Loving Memory of Danny Ray Bourgeois (“Dumperton”)
Danny Ray Bourgeois, affectionately known as “Dumperton” by his beloved wife, Priscilla, passed away on July 6, 2026, at the age of 51. He was born on November 12, 1974, and will be remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, and unwavering love for his family and friends.
Danny had a passion for cheering on the New Orleans Saints, cooking delicious meals for those he loved, and listening to music that brought people together. He was someone you could always count on. Whether a loved one needed a helping hand, words of encouragement, or simply someone to be there, Danny never hesitated to show up. His kindness, loyalty, and love left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Danny is survived by his loving wife, Priscilla Bourgeois; his son, Cameron Bourgeois; his beloved stepdaughters, Shelby Waters, Taylor Waters, and Brianna Waters; his six cherished grandchildren; his mother, Cindy Bourgeois; his aunt and uncle, Sarah and Hiram Vasquez; his aunt, Patty Speer; his uncle, Mike, and Mike’s wife; along with many cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dorothy and Whiley Greene, and his brother, Anthony Bourgeois.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Sarah and Hiram Vasquez for their extraordinary kindness, generosity, and unwavering support during this difficult time. Their compassion, love, and selfless generosity in helping with Danny’s arrangements have been an immeasurable blessing and will never be forgotten.
Though Danny’s time with us was far too short, the memories he created, the laughter he shared, and the love he gave will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His legacy of kindness, devotion, and generosity will continue to inspire all whose lives he touched.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever remembered.
