Daniel Mark Spivey, age 60, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023. He was born on October 5, 1962, in Shreveport, Louisiana to James Edward and Mary Helen Knighton Spivey. He was a graduate of Captain Shreve High School. He worked at Dillards, El Chico, and Yeero-Yeero. Dan was a kind, loving man, who helped everyone as best he could. He was a family man, loving husband, brother, and uncle.

Preceding him in death were his parents and his loving grandmother Mildred Knighton.

Left to cherish his memory are his husband of 42 years John W. Everett; sisters Cherry Berman of Dallas and Laurel Rogers of Monroe; Geralyn Gramm and husband Joe Barrington; bonus kids Jim, Steven, and Jack West, Sadie Hicks, Heavelyn Bailey, Hope and William Bradley.

Visitation will be held at 1pm Monday, May 15, 2023, with a funeral service to begin at 2pm.
