Pete was born in Transylvania, La. He served in the US Army and fought in the Korean War, where he received a Purple Heart. He loved to fish and be on the water. A memorial service will take place Monday February 12 at 2 PM at Aulds Funeral Home in Shreveport, La.

Pete is proceeded in death by his Father Aaron Morgan, Mother Katie Yates Morgan, Wife Linda I. Morgan, Brothers Bill, Ike, James, Buddy, Sisters Juanita, Mabel, and Hattie

Left to cherish his memories are his Daughters Dawn White and fiance Lawrence Mhire, Suzie Hoffman and husband Tom, sons Eddie Morgan and wife Rebecca, Matt Morgan and wife Nicole,  and Jason Morgan. He has 17 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, daughters of his heart Deanna Green and husband Ronnie, and Terri Fairbanks along with a host of other relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff of the VA, and the wonderful staff at Highland Hospital and The Grace Home and Hospice for taking such wonderful care of our loved one.
