Daniel L. Hessig

Daniel L. Hessig, age 90, was born in Tell City, Indiana on October 9, 1933, to Edward and Catherine Hessig and he passed away in Shreveport, Louisiana on December 3, 2023.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Lynette Hessig, brothers Harold and David Hessig, and sisters Gayle Mueller and Linda Ziegler.

Daniel is survived by his children Danette Marten, Timothy Hessig, Daniel Mueller, Vance Hessig, Jennifer Veigel, and Harold Hessig, thirteen grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

Daniel served in the United States Air Force for 26 years, and went on to own a sign-painting business for many years after. Among his favorite hobbies were bowling and fishing. He will be missed by family and friends.
