The memorial service for Daniel Christopher Halbert, 42, will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, January 14, 2017, at Riverpark, 3232 E. 70th Street, Shreveport, LA.  Officiating will be our friend, Jim Lindsey.  The family will receive friends directly after the service at Bayou Thunder Saloon, 1910 Market Street, Shreveport, LA.

Daniel was born on September 10, 1974, in Pasadena, TX to David Halbert and Dianna Halbert.  He succumbed to his battle with cancer on January 10, 2017 in Shreveport, LA surrounded by his loving family and friends.  Daniel was a Crew Leader for LA Rain Pros.  His true passion was music and he touched many lives with his talent and charisma.  As lead singer of the band, The Syndicate, performing was his heart and soul.  He donated much of his free time to supporting many community charitable events to help those in need.  His amazing smile and kind heart along with his dedication to his family were cherished and will be remembered forever.

Preceding Daniel in death are his parents, David and Dianna Halbert and brother, Walter Halbert.  Leaving to cherish his memory are his wife, Katherine Halbert; son, Daniel Halbert, Jr., daughter, Amber Halbert and step-son, Tristan Griggs; brother, David Halbert; brother, James Halbert; sister, Sheba Gonzalez and husband Jose Gonzalez.
