Daniel (Dan) Carr Dailey passed away in his home in Shreveport Louisiana on Wednesday, September 11 ^th 2019 at the age of 81. He is reunited with his wife of 50 years, Alice Dailey, in eternal rest. Dan served in the United States Air Force from 1959 to 1963. He was born in Mooringsport, Louisiana on June 20, 1939. Dan was happiest when he was gardening or watching College Football and Nascar.

Dan leaves behind four daughters, Leslie Pomplun, Lisa Williams , Laurie Fendly, and Dannett Petty, and two sons-in law: Barry Pomplun, and Bruce Petty. He also leaves behind grand children and great grandchildren: Christy and Byran Freeland, Samantha Colcuitt, Rodney and Jennifer Folden-Nissen, Daniel and Kelly Jordan, Elizabeth and Robert Riddle, CJ and Shelby Jordan, Jessica Jordan, Justin Emerson, Jacob Emerson, Joseph Emerson, Christian Williams, Kirsten Colquitt, Michael Freeland, Robert Colquitt, Jessie Freeland, Kamron Sizemore, Naveah Madden-Emerson, Makenzi Sizemore, Jack Riddle, Cristlynn Emerson, Alice Riddle, Niya Emerson, Aiden Emerson, and Everleigh Jordan. Dan will be missed by his siblings: James Sr. and Pam Dailey, Lena Dailey, Quida and Dwayne Melton, Lucy and David Bragg, Louise and Jimmy Golden.

He was proceeded in death by his wife Alice Dailey, sons-in-law: Jerry Williams and Seven Fendley, daughter Jackie Dailey, grandson Andrew Williams and parents: Jasper and Winnie Dailey.
