Daniel Lee Conway, Sr. of Junction City, formerly of El Dorado, passed away on October 6, 2024.  He was born June 16, 1943, in Oakdale, LA, to Clyde (Frog) Conway & Willie Mae Conway.

Dan loved people, he loved to flirt, and he never met a stranger.  He worked hard his entire life and was a self-employed carpenter.  He was a jack of all trades and always looked for the next big business opportunity.  He loved to watch the western channel, and his favorite show was Gunsmoke.  He was also a Nascar fan and watched that each week.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents; eleven siblings: Joyce Griffin, Dorothy Williams, Carolyn Farnell, Betty Eubanks, Clyde Conway, Jr., Jerry Max Conway, T.J. Conway, Billy Conway, J.D. Conway, Kayo Conway, & John Conway; and a grandson, Matt Taylor.

He is survived by his children, LeAnna Pruitt, Robin Conway, Sheila Taylor, Dan Conway, Jr., and his wife, Leigh, along with seven grandchildren & 14 great-grandchildren.  He is also survived by his sister, Brenda Smith (Lamar), and two brothers, Stanley Conway (Robin), & Charlie Conway.

He will be cremated by Aulds Funeral Home, and a celebration of life will be held at Sylvan Hills Baptist Church, 3584 AR-376, Camden, AR, on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at 2:00PM.
