Dale P. Killough Born: 3-31-1948 was prededed in death by his wife Linda Killough,his parents, Ruby V. Stilwell Friddle and Joe Thomas Steve Killough. Survived by: Daughter/Son-n-law: Donna and Dustin Smith of Pollok, TX. and sisters: Sylvia & (charles) Meador , Janice Stringer, Barbara McCormack and brothers: Terry Killough and Ranold Killough and nieces: Suzanne Weeks, Melissa Ellis, Shelia Williams, Christy Nichols, Jennifer Swain and nephews: Codey Williams, Corey Williams, Bobby Shaw, Chris Shaw, Glen Hatten. Dale Killough, youngest of eight children born to: Ruby & Steve Killough in Charlotte, NC. The family moved from Charlotte, NC about 1954 to Shreveport, La. & Glouster, La. area. Dale attended Grand Cane Elementary/Middle School, Byrd Middle/High School, Fair Park High School and cherished the memories he had while attending these La. Schools. He cherished re-uniting with classmates of Grand Cane Elementary/Middle School as he had such fond memories of living in Glouster. Dale attended VoTech in Shreveport, LA. and received a Carpenters Degree. In 1978, he married: Alice C. Armstrong of Mooringsport, LA. and had one daughter Donna Killough. One of Dale's last occupations was a Postal Worker in Irving, TX. In 2007, Dale & Linda married and became residents of Shreveport He enjoyed having made memories at Baptist Tabernacle, and many friendships there. Dale found a wonderful belonging in being apart of C.M.A, so that he could incoropate his love of owning/riding a motorcyle to glorify Christ with other riders. Dale was also proud of his closest brother, Terry Killough who "lived to ride" as well. As we celebrate his life, he would want want to say he dearly loved his brothers/sisters and their familes and the many friends he has meet over the years. His family no doubt helped him through many hard times in his life. Today he would want you to know that he was grateful for your help in his darkest times. To you, his family/dear friends - you have certainly brought much needed relief to a man that could not carry many burdens/trials on his own. He was blessed his family enjoyed throwing him a birthday gathering every year. Now Dale has a unforgetable birthday/easter celebration in Heaven. Celebrating with his Saviour Jesus, beloved wife: Linda Killough, also Alice Killough, beloved brothers: Dean Killough and B.J. Killough; celebrating with his beloved mother: Ruby Killough and nephews, Troy Killough, Mike Gunn and Doug Gunn. Was a member of Baptist Tabernacle and Christian Motorcyle Association Laid to rest: Memory Park in Longview, TX.
