Obituary

Curtis "Wade" Brint passed away April 21, 2022 at Willis Knighton-North after a brief illness. A visitation will be held from 12:00 until 1:00 pm, immediately followed by a celebration of life at 1:00 pm on April 30, 2022, at Broadmoor United Methodist Church, with Dr. Greg Davis officiating.

Wade was born January 1, 1966 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Born on New Year's Day, Wade looked at each day as a celebration and truly was the "life of the party" anywhere he went. At an early age, Wade developed a passion for golf, learning from his beloved grandfather, "Daddy-O." As a 1984 graduate of Captain Shreve High School, Wade was a member of the state champion team his senior year. He continued to pursue his passion at Bossier Parish Community College and was one of the founding members of their first golf team. Later, he would go on to play for Northeast Louisiana State University.

Wade spent his life working in sales. He began his career working in the food retail industry at Kraft Food Service. Later, he moved to the car industry where he worked in finance, sales, and management at different points in his life.

Above anything, Wade was most proud of his two daughters, Jordan and Taylor. As children, they could be found anywhere he was, he had no problem bringing them along to whatever was going on that day. Wade was the ultimate "girl dad." He had no shame in watching chick-flicks, attending dance recitals, allowing shopping sprees, or casually listening to Shania Twain. Wade's best days were spent poolside with his family, grilling, listening to music or yelling at Dallas Cowboy football. Cowboy football was a special tradition held with his parents and brother.

Wade is survived by his mother, Myrna Brint; children, Jordan and Taylor Brint (Fiancé Spencer Hurst); the mother of his children, Lisa Brint; brother, Wes Brint (Ashley), nephews Garrett and Gavin Brint. He is preceded in death by his father, James Brint; maternal grandparents Clifton and Eunice Macferren Eason; paternal grandparents, Harrah and Dixie Clinton Brint.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jay Boyd, Scott Brown, Michael Catt, Jay Crooms, Mark Faries, John Gayle, Chris McCrary, Ken Shapen, Coach David Smith, Chuck Vail, the BPCC men's golf team of 1985, and the Northeast golf team of 1988.

The family would like to thank Wade's girlfriend, Bennett Herndon, Hebert Ford Town and Country – Minden, Dr. Brown of the Willis-Knighton transplant team, and the staff at Fresenius Dialysis Center – South.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society of Northwest Louisiana.
