Connie Smithpeter, age 61, of Shreveport passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at a local hospital. She was born to William and Billie Jean Bryant Blaxton on March 31, 1958 in Shreveport. Connie was a loving mother and grandmother, who cherished her family very much. She was known to be quite the jokester, and loved going camping with her family and friends every year. She will be dearly missed.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Katie Jean Smithpeter.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Michael Leo Smithpeter; son Michael Bryan Smithpeter; grandchildren Haleigh, and Colton Martinez; sister Linda Blaxton Hay.

A memorial service will be held on 11am Friday, November 1, 2019, at Aulds Funeral Home with Pastor Grant Sisson officiating.
