Cloria V. Richardson was born on January 7, 1953 in Shreveport, Louisiana to the late L.C. and Willie Mae Black .
Cloria was educated in the Caddo Parish Public school system and received her nursing assistant certification from American College and after which, she worked as a nursing assistant for many years. Additionally, she was an employee of The ARC of Caddo Bossier for several years.
Cloria accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior at an early age and prided herself in serving God even until the end of her life. She served in the grand ole Church of God in Christ for more than 50 years. She was a member of Whites Temple COGIC where she faithfully served as a Missionary, a part of the Mothers in Zion Praise Team, the Mothers Board, President of the Young Women Christian Council, and Sunday School Teacher. She was loved by her church family and all who knew her.
Cloria married Michael Charles Richardson on June 21, 1976 and to this union three children were born. She was preceded in death by her parents, L.C. and Willie Mae Black; sisters: Lucille Milton, Irma Barfield and Josephine Brown; brothers: Calvin and L.C. Jr and a son -in -law, Cartize Durham.
Cloria was called home to rest on November 14, 2020. She leaves to cherish her memories: (4) daughters Tina (Shone) Scott, Shumeka (Jeff) Christian, Topeka Black, Elisha Richardson, (2) sons Christopher Black, Jonathan (Gabrielle) Richardson; (14) grandchildren; (7) great -grandchildren; (4) sisters Shirley (Travis) Plater, Carrie Nelson, Susie Pearl Thomas and Hattie Walker; (1) Brother Henry Black, Sr., sisters -in -love, brothers -in -love and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
