Claudia Ann ​Cox Rawls was born on September 5, 1934. She passed away just before her 90th birthday on August 18, 2024.

Claudia Ann Cox Rawls was born and raised in Vivian, Louisiana, where she met her husband, Billy Dan Rawls (deceased). They had three children, Jimmy, Donna, and Bobby.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, ​Claude and May Cox, a brother, Mike Cox and son, Jimmy Rawls​.

​Ann was a faithful Christian, a good daughter, friend, wife, an even better mom, mother-in-law, an awesome grandmother, and great grandmother, a.k.a. Mamaw!

She loved her family, cooking for holiday gatherings, having everyone come together, sit down and eat​. She was a great cook! She also was an avid reader, loved football, playing cards, ​diet Coke's, and visits from family and friends.​ She was loved deeply, and will be greatly missed!

She always said, "This too, will pass" ..knowing she's in a better place with her loved ones that were waiting to greet her, makes " this" somewhat easier.. but ​our sweet memories will never pass!​ We love you Mom…Mamaw​!

She is survived by a ​large family​ who loved her dearly, including her children - son, ​Bobby Rawls, and wife, Cheryl, -children Marc and wife Kimberly, Jerad Rawls-children Easton and Presli. Jacob Rawls.  Daughter, Donna Rawls Medack and husband, Rick - children DeAnna Janes-Coker and husband David Coker, Dawn Mantell and husband Dustin, their children Madison Hansen, Dylan, and Avery Mantell.​

She is also survived by her devoted and loving family from her son Jimmy (deceased), Cathy Rawls​ (daughter-in-law), who cared for her for many years, their children Danielle Manuel, husband Ty - children Alexis Crowell, Rylei Folds, Tristan, Grace, and Dakota Manuel. Brent Rawls and girlfriend, Judy Straub.

​Ann is also survived by her loving brother Glenn Cox, wife Anne, their children Tracy Cox Hawke (deceased), Laura Cox Latham, husband Jeff-​ children Alexis and Gunner, wife Camy- son, Cash and Grace, and Ryker.

Her sister-n-law​, Sharon Cox husband Mike (deceased) their children Julie Cox Kirk- husband Keith- children Tyler and wife Jennifer-their children Jared, Sarah, and Mason.​ Stephanie Cox and fiancé, Padden Nelson. Brian Cox.
