He was my mentor and one I looked up to and the reason I’m in the oilfield today. He pulled in the driveway when I was 14 years old and sat in his brand new dodge pickup. And he asked me what was my plans for after I graduated high school. I told him I wanted to be a police officer and he said that’s was honorable but the money is in the oilfield.
