Charles (Chuck) Ray Laird of Bossier, Louisiana passed away February 1, 2023 of a sudden illness.

Chuck was born on April 3, 1958 to Elmer and Jimmie Laird at Barksdale Airforce Base. He graduated from Airline High School and traveled the U.S. as a truck driver.

Chuck was predeceased by his son, Tres Woods, his parents and his 3 beloved dogs, Julie, Duke, and Dutchess. His is survived by his wife of 25 years, Lori, his son, Timothy Woods, daughter-in-law, Krystal Dickerson, his grandchildren, Braylon, Gracie, Braylie, Kanaan, and Greyson, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Chuck was a dedicated husband and father who loved the outdoors and his family. That's what mattered to him most; his wife and family.

The family would like to say thank you to the overnight nurses and doctors of Willis-Knighton, Bossier. They extended an excellent understanding in our time of need.

He is being cremated and a memorial service will be held the weekend of his birthday. Not to mourn his death, but to celebrate his life.
