Graveside services for Christopher Scott Swain aka, "Big Red", 53, will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at 1:00 pm in Anacoco, Louisiana at Good Hope Cemetary.  A visitation will be held Tuesday, October 17, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Aulds Funeral Home 7849 E Kings Hwy Shreveport, Louisiana 71115.  Brother Jerrell Head, pastor of Landmark Baptist Church, will be officiating the service.

Chris was born on September 26, 1970, in Shreveport, La to Alvin L. "Butch" Swain and Lera Ann Swain and passed away suddenly Thursday, October 12, 2023.  Chris was such a great guy with a huge heart, he was caring and loved his family and friends tremendously.  Some would describe him as a Gentle Giant and a Teddy Bear who never met a stranger.  He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.  Chris would've done anything he could to help anybody and would've done it with a smile on his face.

Chris was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin L. "Butch" Swain and Lera Ann Swain.  Left to cherish his memory is wife, Laurie Swain; two sisters, Cynthia Diane Lambert Jordan, and Pamela Swain Russell and husband, Tommy, brother, Kevin Swain and wife, Tammie; Nieces and Nephews, Amber Hesser and husband Adam, Brittany Jordan, Danielle Barnes and husband, Chris, Madalyn Swain and wife, Shelbi Singletary, Alan Lord and wife, Beth, T.C. Russell and wife, Tamara, Joshua Jordan and Nicholas Russell; Great nieces and nephews, Audrey Hesser, Aiden Hesser, Caden Hughes, Hailey Barnes, Alice Lord and Evelyn Lord; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  He had a special cousin, Troy Burson, who he loved dearly like a brother.
