Chloe Nicole Maines, 5 years old, went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ with her family at bedside on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 after succumbing to a spinal cord injury suffered in a MVC on her 5 ^th Birthday, Monday, November 12 ^th , 2018.  Chloe was born in Shreveport, LA, on November 12, 2013 to her parents Robert and Megan Maines.  Chloe was loved by so many and never met a stranger.  A very strong willed Angel and a Fighter till the end.  Chloe loved the outdoors, fishing, swimming, riding her four-wheeler, gymnastics, playing with baby brother Jace, spending time with her Mommy and Daddy and dressing up like a princess every day.  She had the most beautiful blue eyes and had a smile for anyone she met.  "An Angel she was indeed".  To know her was to LOVE her and she will NEVER be forgotten.

She was preceded in death by her great grandfathers D.A. Maines and Carlton Louis Burr.  Maternal great grandparents Don and Lorraine Sellars of Borger, Texas.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents Robert Wayne and Megan Nicole Maines, brother Jace Michael Maines.  Paternal great grandmother Shirley King and Bill Offutt, Mammaw Maines, Grandfather Michael Maines and Denise "DeeDee" Gamble, Grandmother Angela "MiMi" Burr and Tim Allen, Uncle Scott Maines and Ashley Maines, Uncle Alan Maines and Brooke Maines.  Cousins Sawyer Maines, Anna Maines and Mason Maines.  Maternal great grandparents Mike Wade, Beatrice Wade both of Fritch, TX. Great grandmother Debra Whisen Hunt and Phillip of Tulsa, OK. Great grandparents Duane and Sharon Morgan of Gore, OK.  Grandparents Chris "Poppie" Wade and Leslie "MiMi" Wade, Jackie "NaNa" Hutchinson, Matthew "PopPop" and Renee "NaeNae" Sharpley, Her Hero, Aunt T "Tiffany" Wade Johnson and Uncle T "Brandon" Johnson.  Uncle Bub "Cole" Wade all of Shreveport, La.  Cousins Talin Johnson, Lyzzie'Jo Johnson of Shreveport, LA and Addie Rangel of Borger, TX.    Numerous other family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be her Uncle's Scott Maines, Alan Maines, Cole Wade and Brandon Johnson.

The family would like to welcome all for visitation on Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 6-8 pm at Western Hills Baptist Church, 4153 Pines Rd., Shreveport, LA 71119.  Funeral Services will be held at Western Hills Baptist Church on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 1000 am officiated by Pastor Joey Ketchum. Following the services Chloe will be laid to rest at Wallace Cemetery next to her great grandfather D.A. Maines, 207 Reddix/Par Rd in Pelican, LA 71063.  We will follow in Procession to the graveside.

The Family would like to thank the Shreveport Fire Department, Oshner LSU Health ER, Trauma and PICU teams for the undying effort and care that was provided to our beloved Angel Chloe "Bug".  Thank everyone for the prayers and continued prayers as we know that Chloe is in the arms of Jesus and we will see her again.
