Cheryl Hicks Latham Bruce, 77, died March 14, 2024, in Shreveport, Louisiana, after a lengthy illness.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Bruce; parents, Charles O. and Eva Hicks; and her brother, Charles Hicks.

Cheryl is survived by her son, Gary Todd Latham; two grandchildren, Hannah Latham Barnette and Connor Latham; two sisters, Adonna Bostwick and Dana Reid (Johnny); one great-grandson; and numerous other relatives.

She was retired from General Motors and was the former owner of Strickland Courier.
