Charlotte was born on September 28,1943 in Lake Charles,La to Jeff and Helen Veillon. She passed away on September 11,2023 after a short illness at her home in Blanchard,La. Charlotte was a member of Greenwood Hills Baptist Church. She loved The Lord and her family. Her enjoyments in life were her plants and flowers. She had a green thumb.  Any plant she touched became beautiful. She loved sitting in her swing on her porch watching the birds and especially the hummingbirds, which she kept them all well fed. She had a love for life and everyone around her Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents Jeff and Helen Veillon,her sister Gloria Fisher,and brother n law, Aldwin Whittlesy.  Left to cherish her memory is her husband Kurt Rivers,sister Sandy Whittlesy,her children  Tina Stader  and husband Ronny,and Dennis Cory   Grandchildren Jeff Etheredge and partner Skye,and Joey Beaird.  Great ,grandchildren Mason Beaird,Isabella and Olivia  Etheredge A memorial service will be held on Saturday September 16,2023 at 1:00 pm at Greenwood Hills Baptist Church ,Greenwood,La 71033.
