Shreveport, LA - Mike Johnson entered into eternal peace on December 2, 2014, after suffering from Lewy Body Dementia for the past 2 years. He was surrounded by his family and friends as the heavenly angels carried him home. Mike was born in Pine Bluff, AR on March 22, 1945 to Luther T. and Edna L. Johnson. They moved to Shreveport when he was a young child. He was a 1963 Fair Park High School graduate and worked for KTBS television for 39 years where he started out in the projection room and advanced to a commercial director of which he thoroughly enjoyed everyday. He was preceded in death by his parents Luther T. and Edna L. Johnson. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Sandra Johnson and his two daughters Tammy Hudson and Stephanie Johnson, one son Michael Johnson and wife Laura, four grandchildren, Coty Bounds, Shelby Hudson, Parker Johnson, and Blake Johnson. A celebration of his life will be held 11 a.m. Friday December 5, 2014 at Southwood Church of Christ, officiated by Pastor Joe Huffman.
