Charles M. Holtzclaw "Mike", age 61, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on Tuesday, April 6 th at 11:32 pm. He is survived by the mother of his two sons, Brandon Holtzclaw and his wife Holly, Tony and his wife Jessi, and six grandchildren. Allie (18), Karley (16), Hannah (14), Remy (11), Wyatt (10), and Judd (9). He is also survived by one sister, Lisa H. Thrash and husband Rodney, and one brother, Chris Holtzclaw and wife Charlotte, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was a 1977 graduate of Cotton Valley Highschool. Mike had an uncanny ability to live life his way through simple pleasures, chatting with friends and family and spending time with his grandchildren.
Some of his interests included travelling on his Harley, reading, and sharing his knowledge of history.
Family and Friends are encouraged to come by 240 Melba Street in Cotton Valley to pay their respects on Thursday, April 8 th and Friday April 9 th . Celebration of life will be Friday April 9 th after 5:30 at the address above.
In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to Teen Challenge in his name.
Family wants to extend a special thanks to the care that Minden Medical Center, Highland Hospital and Regional Hospice provided for Mike.
