Charles "Chuck" Howard Carey

Charles "Chuck" Howard Carey passed away on June 25, 2019 at the age of 61 due to a sudden illness.

Chuck was born March 1, 1958 in Shreveport, Louisiana and became a life long Bossier City resident.  He worked as a Quality Control supervisor with Module X Solutions for the last 15 years.

Chuck enjoyed playing many sports, especially bowling, golfing, and softball.  Chuck was also an avid sportsman who loved to hunt and fish.  In addition to these hobbies, Chuck also enjoyed dancing.

Chuck Carey is survived by his two brothers, James Carey and his wife, Cathy, and David Carey and his wife, Teresa.  Chuck also leaves behind many nieces and nephews for whom he lovingly acted as family Santa for every Christmas.  Chuck is preceded in death by his parents, James F. Carey and Minnie Pauline Carey, as well as his brother Danny Paul Carey.

Chuck Carey was a loving son, beloved brother, and faithful friend who will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and co-workers.

The visitation will be held at Aulds Funeral Home, 7849 East Kings Highwway, Shreveport, Louisiana 71115, on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at 2:00pm.  Following the visitation, funeral services will commence at 4:00pm.
