Homegoing services for Chad Alan Davis will be held Wednesday, September 23, at Shreveport Community Church. Visitation will be held at the church at 9:30 a.m. and the service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Brian Opbroek, Rev. Frances Duron and Rev. Denny Duron. Interment will be at Forest Park West. Chad was born in Shreveport on February 8, 1972 to Jan McFerren and Skipper Davis. He went home to be with the Lord and to be reunited with his parents on September 20, 2015. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Michelle, and his children, Christian, Bradee, Thomas, Emalee and Kensley. He is also survived by his other mother, Lynn Davis, his brothers, Todd Davis and Michael McFerren, his grandmothers, LaNita Davis and Corine Whatley, and many other family and friends. Pallbearers will be his brother, Todd Davis, his cousins, Rusty Richardson, Gilbert Hayes, and Jimmy Cook, and his great friends, Mark Hobbs and Luke Roark.
