Celia "Sally" Renteria, 74, of El Paso, Texas, passed away on October 25, 2023 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Born on October 23, 1949, Sally was a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister. She is survived by her children, Cody Adams and Mandy Kennedy, as well as her grandchildren, Zeke Judd, Annaiya Kennedy, Shelby Adams, and Zachary Adams; Siblings Luz Subia, Danny Renteria, Delia Martinez, Ruben DeAnda, Christina Vela, Sylvia Martinez, David DeAnda, Manny DeAnda, Caroline Hofstetter, Johnny DeAnda Sally was also preceded in death by her mother, Leonisa Mesa, and her father, Pablo Renteria.

Sally was known for her directness, humor, charisma, and loving nature. She had a private side but was always proud of her family. Her wit and charm were admired by all who knew her. Sally dedicated her life to Albertsons as a Pharmacy Technician, Cashier and other works, where she ended her work career.

Sally worshipped at Bethel Assembly of God. Her faith was an important part of her life, providing her with strength and guidance throughout her journey.

A visitation will be held on October 29, 2023, at 3:30pm at Bethel Assembly of God located at 5801 W Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, Shreveport, LA 71129. A memorial service will follow at 4pm.

In lieu of donations, Sally's family kindly requests that you honor her memory by completing a kind act or engaging in charity work. Sally believed in the power of helping others and would be grateful for any positive impact made in her name.
