Cecil Wayne Ballard age 62 of Provencal, Louisiana passed from this life to the next on September 15, 2024. He was born on February 17, 1962 to Wayne Ballard and Gladys Stutts Ballard.

To say that Cecil loved hunting and fishing is an understatement, he lived for it. Cecil was always ready to lend a helping hand. He was one phone call away from showing up to help.

He is preceded in death by his parents and Paternal Grandparents: John Ballard Sr. and Ruby Mae Waters McCarty. Maternal Grandparents: Washington Stutts and Mary Jacob Stutts. He leaves with his memories his two sons Larry Wayne Ballard and John Andrew (Andy) Ballard and his daughter Kristen Ballard

Multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Brothers & Spouses: Lester Bynog(Stephanie), Michael Wayne Ballard(Emily), John Alvin Ballard(Patricia), and John F Ballard Jr. (Kristina)

Sisters & Spouses: Carla Ballard Matkin (Ronnie), Lisa Bynog Youmans(Mark) and Brenda Ballard Bass(LaVohn). One brother and sister born of time and not of blood Rick and Anita Dove.

Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends that will miss him.

The family will receive family and friends at Fountain of Life Church in Natchitoches, LA on Friday September 27th from 3:00 to 5:30. The Memorial service will then begin at 5:30 with Rev Matthew Pagels and Rev James Thomisee officiating.

Graveside will be held thereafter at Pine Grove Cemetery in Hagewood with Rev Paul Grace officiating.

The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, love and support during this time. A special thanks to Natchitoches Nursing and Rehab along with Heart of Hospice for caring for Cecil and our family.
