Cathy Ann Steele, 76, passed away on September 13, 2026, in Shreveport, LA. She was preceded in death by her husband Harley Steele Jr., parents Margaret Spencer and James Chapman, daughter Patricia Lee Rimmer, two sisters in law Vina Lou Fowler and Margaret Valence.

Cathy is survived by her two children Joey (Naomi) and April (Raymond); sister Helen Clark; two brothers Alan Spencer and Steve Chapman; several grandkids Camilla, Corey, Jaylin, Harleeann, Shelby, and Josiah. Alsos surviving are many friends and other family members.

Cathy made many long-time friendships over the years that she worked for Krogers in the deli department before she retired.

Cathy had hobbies from playing bingo with friends, to her beloved collections of Coca Cola, ink pens, porchland dolls, and her tiger collection. But her prize possession was an Asian porchland doll she had gotten from a dear friend.
