Carolyn Elizabeth Barnette Warren was born December 4, 1938 and passed away at her home in Coushatta, LA on June 13, 2024. She was a registered nurse for over 50 years before she retired from the Christus Health System. Carolyn was a prominent member of the Red River community and loved being a part of charitable organizations. One in particular, The Pilot Club of Coushatta, she helped pioneer and was the first president in 1985. Another of her favorites was the Red Hat Society where she made some of her greatest friendships. Carolyn was full of life; she loved dancing and traveling the world with her husband, Billy Glyn.

Carolyn was preceded in death by Billy Glyn, her husband of over 65 years; her parents, Thomas and Blanche Barnette; her brothers, Gahagan and Max Barnette; sisters, Janie Adkins and Edna Earle Corley.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Lisa Noonan; her son Rodney Warren and wife Anna; three grandsons Dylan Noonan, Colton Warren and wife Kristie, Matthew Warren and wife Mallory; five granddaughters Cara Blanchard, Jessica Sinks and husband Adam, Hannah Baker and husband Nathan, Jesika Joyner and husband Joey, and Elizabeth Bryan and husband Jeremy; seventeen great grandchildren; host of nieces and nephews; and lifelong friends Harry and Barbara Mosley, and Linda Beth Warren.

Visitation will be held 2:00pm – 4:00 on Sunday, June 23 at Abundant Life Worship Center in Coushatta. A graveside service will be at New Ebenezer Cemetery in Castor immediately following visitation.
