Carolyn Marie Goodwin, age 74, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away on December 27, 2023. She was born on March 9, 1949, to Roy Edward Bingle and Cordie May Denmon Bingle. Carolyn was a loving wife, mother, and sister who warmed the heart of anyone she came into contact with. She had a heart for animals. She loved her dear Sparky to the ends of the earth and loved listening to Bro. Jimmy Swaggert. Marie is now reunited with our beloved grandmother, Etter Bingle and Aunt Maggie Gandy. These two ladies made such an impact on her life and now they can reminisce about everything as they are all in heaven together.

Left to cherish her memory are: The Love of her life, Melvin "Don" Goodwin of Shreveport, LA. One sister Adele B. Fann and husband Bill of Shreveport, LA. One brother Charles "Buddy" Bingle of Doyline, LA.

Son Paul Goodwin, Wife April, children Madelyn and Faith.

Nieces and nephews – Kara Lowrie, Lee Herriage, Heath Herriage, and many Great Nieces and Nephews. Many Cousins – to name a few:  Barbara Lovelady, Mary Lou and Ruby Lee Penny.  Pam, Gene, Dale, and Cathy Gandy.

Her beloved pet "Sparky" and numerous cats.

Preceded in Death: Grandparents Frank, Etter and Amy Bingle.  Parents Roy and Cordie Bingle. Brother Robert Bingle.  Uncle Elgie Bingle, Aunt Maggie and Uncle Claiborne Gandy.

The family extends a heartfelt thanks to the staff at Live Oak for everything to make her life a full and happy one. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Robinson Rescue in Shreveport, Louisiana.

A graveside service will be held at 2pm Saturday, January 6, 2024, at the Doyline Cemetery in Doyline.
