Carol Ann Smith Stillwell

September 13, 1943 to July 21, 2021

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Carol Ann Smith Stillwell, cared for at, Willis Knighton Pierremont Hospital, Shreveport, Louisiana. Carol is preceded in death by her father, Stuart Milward Smith and mother, Edith Marie Smith of Superior Wisconsin, as well as, her siblings Darlene, Pat, Jerry and Judy, and grandson Colton Russel Tullis.

In memory of our mother, we, and the countless lives she touched, would like to remember her love for the Lord, love for music, and her love to travel, "our mother loved to drive"! Her greatest joy was visiting family, friends, and extended family to catch up on time passed. She treasured the fellowship of her Sunday-school class at the First Baptist Church of Blanchard, in Shreveport and The Cowboy Church in Greenwood, LA. Our mother was never afraid to meet a stranger and always welcomed them into our family, sharing love, hope and laughter. Our family, and extended family is very large, thank you mom.

Knowing mom, you were encouraged to always do your best and be kind to everyone, serve the Lord, and root for the Green Bay Packers, "Go Packers!". Our mother would want everyone in her life to know, they were never forgotten and very special to her. Carol Ann, fought until the end, to remain tangible for all of us left behind, but finally succumbed to a brief illness July 21, 2021, at the age of 77.

Carol Ann Smith Stillwell is survived by her children Mathew (Joyce), Michael (Debbie), Michelle (Carl), and Mitchell; her brother, Stuart Smith; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many wonderful nieces, nephews, in-laws, and adopted family members.

Thank you, mother, for the wonderful memories, unwavering support, and kindness you have shown us in the time we had with you; You will be missed until we meet again, go with grace.
