Carol Jean Porter was born on April 21,1943 in Evansville, Indiana to James Ozan and Alice Porter. She lost her will to thrive on April 29, 2020 at 7:30 PM at Magnolia Manor Nursing Home in Shreveport, Louisiana.

She attended the Fairview School district from 1950 to 1962. She started LPN school in the Camden School of Nursing and later graduated from SAU El Dorado, Arkansas class of 1990.

In her earlier years she attended Cullendale First Baptist Church in Camden, Arkansas.

Carol leaves to cherish her sweet memories, 4 children, Ron Porter (Jo), James Porter (Shon), Kimberly Pervier (Lawrence), and David Stanley Jr. (Mary), grandchildren Brett Wilson (Meghan), Heather Jones (A.J.) and Amy Porter, great grandchildren, Brycten Jordyn Harris, Anthony Jones, Graycie Wilson, a host of nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.

She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. They could never do wrong in her eyes. She was an avid pianist and loved playing for her parents and anyone else that would sit and listen.

We are going to miss you more than life itself!!!
