Carol Leroy Cotton Jr age 72 of Bossier city, passed away March 3rd, 2024 surround by family, after a long battle with lung and heart disease.

He was born to Betty Jean Cotton and Carol Leroy Cotton Sr in Santa Paula, California. Leroy was raised in Texas, where he worked with his family training horses and working on anything he could get his hands on. He met his wife of 43 years Martha Sue Rogers in Arkansas on a horse training farm where they fell in love. They moved to Louisiana in 1985 where they settled in Bossier city. Leroy was a kind generous man with a big heart. Him and his wife Martha adopted their grandkids Kimberly Cotton and Brandie Stokes as infants and raised them as their own. Leroy worked for the City of Bossier for 20+ years before his health forced him to retire. Even in his years of fighting health issues he didn't let that stop him from enjoying his favorite things like watching nascar, working on and watching dirt track cars, fishing and talking to everyone. Leroy never met a stranger. Everyone was a friend and if you ever needed anything Leroy would give you the shirt off his back.

Leroy is survived by his wife Martha his children Kimberly Kay Addison, Brandie Lynn Roach, Treina Lynn Cotton, Carol Leroy Cotton III (Lee), Vivian Jean Cotton, and his many grandchildren including Marley Kaylynn Addison, Zachary Thomas Cotton, Hannah Heacock, Johnathan and Cody Wheeler.

Leroy is being cremated and the family is having a memorial service on March 17th at Leroy's home. All friends and family are invited to come share food and good memories to celebrate the big man with an even bigger heart.
