Candice Renee Despot

(June 12, 1967 - February 18, 2022)

Candice Renee Despot, age 54, was born in Monroe, Louisiana, on June 12, 1967 (this date was the end of the 6-day war when Israel regained the city of Jerusalem) to Edwin and Carolyn Mulhearn and passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022, at the Carpenter House, in Shreveport, Louisiana.  Candice graduated from Caddo Magnet High School and from the Louisiana State University-Monroe.  She worked as a dental hygienist.  Candice was an affable person, always showing happiness towards others.

She is survived by her parents; husband, Mickey Despot; stepsons, Mitchell and Morgan Despot; her younger brother, Rich Mulhearn; her younger sister, Christine Ghosh and husband Tito, from Concord, Massachusetts; and niece, Savannah.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, February 25, 2022, at the church meeting hall, 7637 E. Kings Highway, Shreveport, Louisiana 71115.
