Burl Dean Whittington

July 7, 1964 - November 3, 2019

Memorial services for Burl will be held at 10:00 am Saturday,

November 16, 2019, at Aulds Funeral home, 7849 E. Kings Hwy

Shreveport, Louisiana.

Burl was a loving and compassionate Christian whose children

and grandchildren were his greatest joys in life.

He was proud to be a patented inventor of a 98% efficient marine

propeller of which he was modifying only days before he unexpectedly

left us. He was also an artist who could create beauty from metal,

glass, or even a wooden stick. He always took a gift, whether small or

large, to everyone he visited. He loved to be with people, and his

presence was a gift in itself.

Burl was preceded in death by his wife and mother of his children, Patty Dubois Whittington, their son, Burl Paul, and his sister, Barbara Seymour.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Angelina Vespa and her husband, Fedele, and their children, Filippo Charles and Matteo Dean  of Huntsville, AL.,  his son, Jon Taylor of Ocala, FL.; sisters, Elizabeth Todd (Randy) and Vivian Ogea Allen (Kent) of Haughton, LA.
