Brian Lendon Smith went to be with his Savior on Aug. 18th 2024, after a long battle with MS. In life, his loves included hunting, fishing, & car racing. He loved taking things apart, just to see how they worked, from the age he could first hold a screwdriver. He loved his church family at University Church of Christ. Brian was a fighter who can now be at peace. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Billy C. & Doris Smith and Paul B. & June Daily, Uncle Paul Smith, & cousin Michael Manning. He is survived by his mother Melinda Walker, father & stepmother, Danny & Sharon Smith, his sister Kimberly Smith & partner Karly Brock & niece Harlow Brock, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, & friends. A memorial service will be held for Brian at University Church of Christ on Saturday, Aug. 24th at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MS Society or charity of your choice.
