Brenda Sue French Smith 83 went to he with the lord October 25, 2024 after a lengthy illness.

Born December 14,1941 in Dodson, Louisiana to Howard and Velma French. She was raised in Jonesboro, Louisiana were she graduated Jonesboro High School in 1960. She moved to Shreveport, Louisiana and went business school. Shortly afterwards it was there she met the love of her life Tommy Gene Smith. They married and raised 3 boys.

Brenda was a homemaker, mother, wife, and sister to 4 siblings. She love to read and watch wheel of fortune. She worked and retired from Bayou Security Alarm Service as a dispatcher.

A member of Rose Park Baptist Church. She loved Jesus christ and was saved in her early 20s. She was loved and liked by everyone.

Preceded in death by her parents Howard and Velma French, brothers Howard Ray French and Jimmy R. French, loving husband of 56yrs Tommy Gene Smith, and granddaughter Jennifer Marie Smith.

Left to cherish her memory are her 3 sons Randy Eugene Smith, Tommy Wayne Smith, and Philip Brian Smith (Kathy), sisters Janice Creel(Gerald), Karen Colman(Mike), grandson Micheal S. Smith. A host a nieces nephews and great grandchildren.
