Brenda Huckabee Cotton, age 77, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2026, after a strong and courageous battle with lung cancer, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories. Born on November 13, 1948, in Longview, Texas, Brenda brought warmth and joy to all who knew her throughout her life. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.

Brenda was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Ruth Huckabee and Ed Huckabee, and her brother, Kent Huckabee. She is survived by her devoted husband of 46 years, Jeff Cotton; her son, Jeromy Cotton, and his wife, Casey Cotton; her granddaughter, Haven Cotton; her grandson, Chase Allen; her sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Gary Green; her sister-in-law, Jeanie Saunders; and several beloved nieces and nephews.
