Shreveport, LA - Mrs. Brenda Kay Cascio passed away on July 13, 2014 after a brief illness. Brenda was born in Springhill, LA on August 24, 1949 but has been a resident of Shreveport since 1972. Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 16, 2014 at 9 am at Aulds Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at noon at Forest Park East. She is preceded in death by her husband Albert Roy Cascio Jr whom she loved dearly. She is also preceded by her parents Marshall and Virgina Wright of Bussey, AR and two brothers Jerry and Ronald Wright. She is survived by her two sons Paul and wife Shelly Cascio of Rockwall, TX and Casey and wife Chrissie Cascio of Bossier City, LA and one daughter Regina and husband Chris Hetrick of Shreveport, LA. She was the most wonderful Mimi to her 5 grandchildren Nicholas and Nathan Cascio, Izabella Cascio, Sydni and Reagan Hetrick. She is also survived by three brothers Gwendell and wife Carol Wright of Liberty City, TX, Wendell and wife Paula Wright of Sarepta, LA and Gary and wife Linda Wright of El Dorado, AR plus numerous nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. Pallbearers will be Paul Cascio, Casey Cascio, Chris Hetrick, Ben Cothran, Nathan Wright, and Jon Urban. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the doctors and nursing staff of University Health SICU for the care and support during this time.
